EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. -- An East Greenbush teen was accused of stealing more than $5,000 worth of merchandise from Kmart. Police said store security noticed their employees pretend to scan items, then bag them up.

The 17-year-old is accused of stealing video games, electronics, and food among other things.

Police ask anyone who received stolen items to please contact them.
