ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany detectives arrested a former bank teller who they say stole more than $95,000. Police said Jeffrey Roscoe, 26, was the head bank teller at Trutsco Bank at the Whitehall Road branch. They said Roscoe became a suspect after an internal audit in December and he was immediately suspended following an investigation.
Detectives said he made several false transactions over a period of time in order to withdraw money for himself. Police said Roscoe stole more than $95,000 between February 2010 and December 2011.
He was arrested and charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records. Roscoe was arraigned and is being held at Albany County Jail.
