Analysts: Gas prices could level off
UNITED STATES -- Gas prices continue to climb, but relief could be on the way. The latest Lundberg survey shows gas prices have risen 11 cents over the past two weeks. They put the national average at $3.93 for a gallon of regular.
Analysts said crude oil prices are easing off, and supply is up, so gas prices should be on their way back down.
AAA reported Monday’s average across New York State is up to $4.05. In the Capital Region, we're paying about a nickel less, at $4 a gallon. In the Hudson Valley, we're paying about $4.01 a gallon.
