WATERFORD, N.Y. -- It's now to honor our Kid of the Week. This week, we honor 10-year-old Morgan LeBeau of Waterford.

Morgan is a 5th grade student at Shatekon Elementary School in Clifton Park. Back in December, she organized a canned food drive for the Shatekon students.

Currently, Morgan is working with her mom to organize a charitable fundraiser for “To Love a Child”. They're trying to help an orphanage in Haiti. The items that Morgan hopes to collect will be shipped to the island nation.

For her dedication to charity, Morgan LeBeau is our Kid of the Week.
