TROY, N.Y. -- The latest on deliberations in the Troy voter fraud trial is that it's just getting later in the deliberations. It's been nearly a week and no verdict.
On Monday jurors will return to the jury room. They're reviewing the case of Rensselaer County Democratic Elections Commissioner Edward McDonough and former Troy councilman Michael LoPorto.
The two democrats are accused of forging absentee ballots in the 2009 Working Families Primary.
The jury gave the judge another note on Friday saying they're deadlocked. Both defense attorneys have asked for a mistrial, but the judge says the jury needs to stay focused and continue deliberating.
