Woman injured in Central Bridge fire

A woman is being treated for serious injuries after a fire heavily damaged a home in Schoharie County. YNN’s Lori Chung reports from the scene.

CENTRAL BRIDGE, N.Y. -- A portion of Route 7 in Central Bridge is closed due to a house fire earlier this morning. Firefighters were called to a house near Wetsel Hollow Road around 8:30 a.m.

When they were able to get inside, they found a woman with serious injuries. The woman was transported to the Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse for treatment.

Investigators are still looking for the cause of the fire.
