SARATOGA SPRINGS -- Bed bugs in public housing is expected to be addressed at tonight's Saratoga City Council meeting.

The bed bugs issue first arose last summer, when people living at the Stonequist Apartments complained that the Housing Authority wasn't doing enough to get rid of the insects. That led to more questions about how the Authority handles finances.

Saratoga Springs Mayor Scott Johnson is now asking the state comptroller to conduct an audit. The Housing Authority manages about 380 units in Saratoga.
