KINGSTON, N.Y. -- "No name calling" week wraps up in the Hudson Valley with a special art exhibit by local students.

More than 85 different schools and youth groups participated in "no name calling week," which promotes respect and tolerance and aims to put an end to bullying.

Students were asked to submit creative art pieces that showcase how they feel about bullying.

Nearly 200 pieces were submitted, and organizers say the event provided a great opportunity to open a dialogue.

Rob Conlon, Co-Chair, GLSEN Hudson Valley said, “Bullying doesn't have to exist and when it does it's hurtful. But in some ways we can take something out of that hurt and create beautiful art."

This exhibit will travel across the Hudson Valley at local businesses and centers.
