ALBANY, N.Y. -- Members of the Occupy Albany movement are expected to meet Monday with Albany city officials to discuss the cease and desist notice they were given by police for overnight camping.
Protesters were given the eviction notice late last week, following a letter that outlined serious health and safety concerns after an inspection was done last week.
It gave the group some deadlines to clean up and get out. The letter also came with a permit allowing protesters to stay overnight until Tuesday, but that's only if they comply with the rules.
If they don't secure a permit and clean up by then, the city said it could take legal action.
