ALBANY, N.Y. -- Occupy Albany protesters take part in the march in solidarity with Oakland to honor a fellow protestor who suffered a skull fracture from what is thought to be a tear-gas canister fired by police in Oakland, California.

Iraq War veteran Scott Olsen, 24, was injured by police during attempts to clear the Occupy Oakland encampment on October 25th.

Occupy Albany protesters are now showing their support for the rights of the Oakland occupiers and all other occupy assemblies who are fighting to have their voices heard.

"I'm here to march with Occupy Albany and a whole lot of community supporters, part of the 99 percent, to rally in solidarity against police brutality and show Occupy Oakland our support for their occupation and to show the rest of the 99 percent that this is a people's movement," said Occupy Albany protester Daniel Morrissey.

Meanwhile, Olsen remains unconscious in critical condition at an Oakland hospital.
