NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- According to the
Times Herald Record, a Newburgh woman accused of faking an illness to receive donations honeymoon is now under investigation by the State Attorney General.
Business owners throughout the Hudson Valley donated services to Jessica Vega for her wedding and Aruba honeymoon last year because she said she had terminal cancer.
Her now ex-husband later said she made it all up. Vega has reportedly claimed she was misdiagnosed.
At this point, Vega is not facing any charges.
