Services continue for victims of house explosion

SALEM, N.Y. -- Services are being held for some of the victims of last week's house explosion in Salem.
The family of Clarrisa Porlier, 19, is asking those attending her funeral on Tuesday to bring teddy bears. Porlier's family called her Claire Bear and her mother is going to donate all the teddy bears collected at the funeral to various children's hospitals and programs. The funeral is being held at the Gospel Lighthouse Church on LaCrosse Street in Hudson Falls at 3 p.m.
On Friday, services will be held for Porlier's boyfriend, Lawrence Berg, 19, his mother Tammy Palmer, 41, and Palmer's granddaughter Niyah Durham. They were also killed in the explosion.
In Lake Luzerne, Robert Sanford, 16, was remembered on Monday by friends and family at his wake before he was laid to rest.
