ALBANY, N.Y. -- A local accounting firm presented a large check to the Center for Disability Services. The firm Teal, Becker and Chiaramonte donated $10,000 to the health care program.

In honor of firm's 40th anniversary, they say they wanted to do something big for a good cause. They are also a partner with the Center Health Care.

The CEO for the Center for Disability Services says they just hired a new neurologist so the donation will help with the expenses.

"If you come for a neurology appointment, some of the procedures and test require equipment and it is the equipment we need to be able to do those tests in the office so people don't have to travel. They come once, come to the doctor's office, get the test done there. Helps the practitioner to really do the diagnoses necessary to help their patient," said Alan Krafchin, CEO and President of the Center for Disability Services.

The accounting firm helps 40 different charities throughout the year.
