RENSSELAER, N.Y. -- A Rensselaer County grand jury has indicted an Averill Park man on three counts of murder in connection with two deaths from back in 2002.
Michael Mosley, 40, has been charged in the deaths of 18-year-old Arica Lynn Schneider and 27-year-old Samuel Holley. The two were found murdered eight years ago in their Troy apartment.
Mosley is expected to be arraigned next week on the three counts of murder and one count of burglary. He is being held in the Rensselaer County Jail without bail.
Last month, Troy Police used a hit in the DNA database to track down Mosley. Sources say Mosley's DNA was entered into the database back in December and is a match to blood found at the crime scene at the couple's apartment.
Back in 2007, Terrence Battiste and Bryan Berry were arrested for the murders. However, Battiste and Berry were cleared of all charges two weeks ago. Mosley has no known links to either of the men.
