ALBANY, N.Y. -- Jezreel International, Feed the Children and Beech-Nut Nutrition team up for a holiday drive to help nearly 800 families in the Capital Region just in time for Easter.

Feed the Children delivered two tractor trailers of food from Oklahoma to Albany Thursday morning. Volunteers, community leaders, and law enforcers came out to help deliver the items.

Volunteers say they know in tough economic times, people need their support more than ever.

"I feel like I'm blessed at this point in my life, so I feel like I need to give to others," said one woman.

"Well it's perfect with the Easter holiday to, you know, be able to prepare a full meal for your family and just spend time together," said another woman.

Food, household items, baby food and books were available for those picking up donations.
