HUDSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced the Hudson Valley will receive more than $200 million to be used for dozens of infrastructure improvement projects. It's money he says with create thousands of jobs.
The funding will go towards bridges and roadways that need to be repaired, with $106 million being used to replace and paint portions of the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge.
Another $24 million will be used to replace the pair of bridges carrying Sprain Brook Parkway over Route 119 in the Town of Greenburgh.
