BERKSHIRE COUNTY, Mass. -- A springtime tradition in Berkshire County gears up for its tenth year.

Hancock Shaker Village's Round Stone Barn has been transformed into a nursery for a handful of baby farm animals.

Each year, Hancock Shaker Village opens up its farm to the public. Visitors get to feed and play with baby lambs, piglets, cows and other farm animals. The event kicks off the farm and museum's spring and summer seasons, with museum exhibits that look into aspects of Shaker culture.

Last year, over 15,000 people came out to meet the animals and organizers hope this year will be even more successful.

"You don't really get to go on a farm and interact with animals, anywhere. No matter where you go. And this is an event that I really pushed forward for to get the kids away from the TVs, the iPhones," said Bill Mangiardi, Hancock Shaker Village Farm Director.

Baby Animals starts this weekend and runs through April 28th.
