NCAA-bound Siena tops Fairfield 72-65 in OT

Edwin Ubiles scored 27 points and Alex Franklin added 22 points and 12 rebounds as Siena rallied from a double-digit halftime deficit and beat Fairfield 72-65 in overtime Monday night to win the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament for the third straight season.

Siena beats Fairfield in OT

For 10,000 strong only one thing mattered Monday night and that was the Siena Saints playing in the MAAC Championship in search of their third straight title. It was a fantastic game and an amped crowd, but this may be the last time we see this playoff action at the Times Union Center for years.
