Capitals even the series with Rangers
NEW YORK, N.Y. -- The Eastern Conference semifinal series between the Rangers and Capitals now shifts to Washington for game three on Wednesday night.
This, as the Capitals left Madison Square Garden Monday night with a win in game two to even their series with the Rangers at one game a piece.
The Rangers were down 2-0 in the first period when Brad Richards scores his fourth goal of the playoffs to bring the Blueshirts back into the game.
The game was tied at two in the third period when Washington's Alex Ovechkin scored the game-winner late in the period, as the Capitals took the game, 3-2.
