SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Fans held a pep rally for the Union hockey team as they arrived home from their trip to the Frozen Four in Tampa.
A big crowd gathered to welcome the team back to campus Friday afternoon, a day after losing to Ferris State in the national semifinals.
While the season may have ended sooner than they would have liked, it was still a historic one for the Dutchmen. They won their first ever NCAA tournament game and made their first ever appearance in the Frozen Four.
The team says they felt the support from their fans, all throughout the season.
