NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Cynthia Rowley showed her fall 2011 collection in the tents at Lincoln Center, and the runway featured luxurious fabrics and autumnal colors.

"Lots of velvet that have been shaved down to like the very most delicate silk and velveteens that have been shaved down to the cotton, the raw, bare, cotton," said Rowley.

Craftsmanship and quality fabrics distinguish Rowley from the crowd.

"You can have the look, you can have the silhouette, you can have the color, the print, whatever it is, but like nothing makes you feel as great as really beautiful fabrics," said Rowley.

Her models wear longer skirts, but Rowley became flustered when she explained how to wear them.

Rowley said, "Even though you're wearing a long dress, it's not like... you're not wearing a long, heavy garment. It's light, it's airy, it's sexy, and you just wear it with boots and nothing else. Not, I mean, 'nothing' meaning no tights or...now I'm getting embarrassed."

"We want to see her in nothing else," said reporter George Whipple.

"He's getting me all flustered," exclaimed Rowley.

Then, Rowley complimented the cashmere threads on yours truly!
