WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- A building collapse in Wappingers Falls that left about a dozen people homeless is under investigation. Thursday morning, a wall at the 150-year-old Goring Hall partially collapsed, tumbling into an alley.
Three women who lived in the building had just returned home when the wall gave way, but they were able to get out safely. No one was injured.
The area around the building remains blocked off.
