How about a day trip to historic Seneca Falls? 76 Fall Street is where you'll find the National Women's Hall of Fame. People's park down along the waterway is where to go each Wednesday for the farmer's market. If you're looking to spend the night in the area, try the new Hotel Clarence, themed around 'It's A Wonderful Life'.
For a different perspective of Seneca Falls, see the village beauty from the 'water', from the Seneca Cayuga Canal! It's the waterway that connects Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake. The old Navy boat 'The Liberty' travels the waterway out of Waterloo, just up the road on 5&20 from 'Waterloo Harbor' and 'Fuzzy Guppies', 1278 Waterloo-Geneva Rd. In addition to the 'The Liberty', you'll have access to kayaks and human water balls! There are camping facilities too!
The Liberty takes you on a 90-minute boat ride on the Seneca-Cayuga Canal through the lock system and into Seneca Falls. Call ahead for reservations: (315) 789-5520. Tickets $17 adults, $12 children.
