PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The FBI arrested a Pittsfield man in connection with an international cyber crime crackdown.
According to FBI officials, Peter Ketchum, 21, is one of 24 people that were arrested across more than a dozen countries for using the internet to traffic and exploit stolen credit cards, bank accounts and stolen identities.
This comes after a two year undercover operation that is led by the FBI to locate cyber criminals. Officials said the successful operation is protecting more than 400,000 potential cyber crime victims and preventing more than $205 million in losses.
