DRESDEN, N.Y. -- A Queensbury man is dead after a single car crash in Dresden Thursday morning. State Police say it happened on State Route 22 just after 1:30 a.m.

They say Michael Sharkey, 21, somehow veered off the road and crashed his Chevy Cobalt into a rock ledge. Sharkey was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating the crash.
