CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- The state has released the specific funding details for all of New York’s school districts.

We’ve known since December that education funding would increase by four percent overall, but now you can see how much more money your school district is receiving.

The document, known as a school run, breaks down the amount of state dollars allocated to each district in the budget. The final number is determined by a handful of factors, including number of students, and regional formulas.

Also, as part of a last minute deal with Governor Cuomo, more than $150 million in funding was added back into a general fund instead of being earmarked for competitive grants.

In the Capital Region, Niskayuna may be facing more budget concerns with a loss of almost $1 million, while the Albany City School District is down by more than $400,000 for the upcoming school year.

Other schools gained funding, with Schenectady up almost $2 million and Broadalbin-Perth gaining over $93,000. Cohoes and Averill Park have also received additional aid.
