ALBANY, N.Y. -- YNN's Chief Meteorologist Mike Bono joined students at the Langan School in Albany Thursday for their science fair.

High school and elementary school students had the chance to ask questions, learn about the weather we've been having lately, and they also learned a little bit about what goes into forecasting.

Mike brought in different weather instruments to teach the kids about calculating wind speed and measuring rainfall. He shared motivational stories with the group about how he dreamed of being a meteorologist when he was their age.
