Traffic stop on Thruway leads to arrests for cocaine, heroin, pot
NEW BALTIMORE, N.Y. -- A traffic stop on the Thruway leads to two arrests after troopers find cocaine, heroin, and marijuana in the vehicle.
Driver Erica Danzy, 29, and passenger Teddy Pulliam, 44, both of Schenectady, were pulled over on the Thruway in New Baltimore for a traffic violation around 10 p.m. Monday.
During the stop, State Police said they found 14.9 ounces of crack cocaine, 5.5 ounces of cocaine, 1,000 glassine envelopes of heroin, and a small bag of marijuana.
Danzy and Pulliam were arrested and charged with multiple counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance as well as unlawful possession of marijuana. They were arraigned in the Town of New Baltimore Court and sent to the Greene County Correctional Facility without bail.
