The public will get a chance to weigh-in twice before the Albany Common Council votes next month to decide if Steven Krokoff will be promoted to chief of police. Krokoff is currently the acting chief, and was one of four candidates nominated by Mayor Jerry Jennings' police chief search committee in April. Jennings made his decision last Friday. Our Erin Vannella spoke with some council members during Monday night's meeting to find out if they support Krokoff as well.
